США и Евросоюз умышленно блокируют позитивную информацию о выборах в Судане //22.04.2015

«Международные наблюдатели от России, присутствовавшие на всеобщих выборах в Судане 13-17 апреля резко осудили бойкотирование Соединенными штатами и ЕС хода голосования, отметив при этом преимущество граждан Судана перед жителями Великобритании в вопросах полноправного участия в избирательном процессе», - сообщает ежедневная независимая газета «Взгляд Судана».
Глава российской делегации Игорь Борисов в ходе пресс-конференции заявил о том, что сегодня США и страны Запада стали заложниками собственной враждебной позиции по отношению к Судану, так как несмотря на демонстративное бойкотирование выборов, руководство стран осознает соблюдение суданской стороной международных избирательных стандартов.
«Мы убеждены, что Америка целенаправленно блокирует любую позитивную информацию о Судане», - отметил Борисов. При этом, он подчеркнул, что в отличие от выборов в Судане, на промежуточных выборах в США наблюдателей лишили возможности присутствовать на избирательных участках и следить за ходом голосования. По мнению Борисова выборы, проводимые в США и Европейском союзе, не соответствуют многим международным стандартам, которыми они апеллируют в отношении других государств.
В этой связи, приведя в пример электоральные процессы в Шотландии, на которых международным наблюдателям было запрещено осуществлять фото- и видеосъемку, Борисов положительно оценил процесс голосования в Судане, где российские наблюдатели не столкнулись ни с какими запретами относительно их деятельности.
Кроме того, Борисов подчеркнул, что российская сторона приняла участие в выборах в качестве международных наблюдателей в целях содействия развитию избирательной практики в Судане и Северной Африки и не обеспокоена пренебрежительной позицией Запада по данному вопросу.
В течение нескольких дней, пока длилось голосование, российские наблюдатели совместно с наблюдателями из Китая и Лиги арабских государств, посетили более 20 избирательных участков и, проведя мониторинг голосования, пришли к выводу, что выборы в Судане проходили в соответствии с законодательством без ущемления прав избирателей.
16 апреля первый вице-президент Республики Судан Бакри Хасан Салех приветствовал российскую делегацию в своем офисе и поблагодарил за ее позитивный вклад в российско-суданские отношения. По окончанию встречи российские наблюдатели И. Борисов и А. Игнатов выразили полную удовлетворенность процессом и результатом прошедших выборов, которые, по их мнению, полностью соответствуют международным стандартам и демонстрируют усилия Судана в вопросах поддержания демократии.

US and EU Deliberately Block Positive Information About Sudan
Khartoum - The delegation of the Sate of Russia participating in monitoring the elections has lashed out at the United States of American and the European Union (EU)for not participating in the election process and described boycotting the elections by local bodies as regretful,saying that guarantees for the Sudanese to cast his vote is more than that given in Britain.
The Head of the delegation , the Representative of the Russian High Commission and the observer of the elections, Bari Siov Igore said in a press conference that America and the West are now ashamed of their stance but they are aware that there is no way but to continue their hostile stance towards Sudan despite the fact that they know the election in Sudan is taking place in conformity with what was agreed upon worldwide. .
He said “we are sure that they are deliberately blocking a lot of good and positive information about Sudan “ noting that America bans observers of their election from being present at the poling centers contrary to what we have found in Sudan. He stressed that election conducted in America and the European Union do not conform with many of the international standards which they propagate, theirs only represent 1 out of 9 of the agreed upon standards.
He said in the election held recently in Scotland, taking photos was banned and it was not transparent , saying that we all have the full freedom to photograph and taking video here ,noting that the election is conducted in consistency with the beliefs of the Sudanese and the Russian people.
He said they don’t care very much about America’s and the West disregard and they don’t care about their stances, stressing that they accepted to participate as observers came because they care about the advancement of elections in Sudan and North Africa.He noted that the democratic process will continue to develop in conformity with the international laws.
He said the Russian delegation has toured 20 centers on Monday and yesterday and got acquainted with the progress of election progress and the monitoring process by the international observers from the Arab League and China saying that they have seen how the voters cast their votes in absolute freedom.
Meanwhile - The First Vice-President of the Republic, General, Bakri Hassan Salih met, yesterday, at his office, the Russian Observers Mission.
He, welcomed the delegation and commended the Sudanese-Russian relations and was briefed about the participation of the mission in the election.
The Russian observers, following the meeting, expressed full satisfaction over the voting process which conforms to the international standards, expressing astonishment over the EU stance in this regard.
They said their views were identical with those of other observers concerning Sudan's efforts for supporting democracy.
